The direct train from Paddington Station (also serviced by the Heathrow Express if you come by plane from abroad) takes just over 5 hours and it is the most wonderful journey through the country side and serviced on some of its trains by the famed PULLMAN restaurant. You can enjoy a three or four course white table cloth dining services breakfast/lunch or dinner, that will get you to Penzance in style! Please see Great Western Railways Pullman Dining for more details. It is WELL worth the experience. But please check the trains which operate this service. (A local tip …. you don't need to have booked in first class to enjoy this service, but you may need to get to the restaurant car as soon as you board to put your name down with the train manager. First class customers will naturally have priority seating, but we have never been disappointed…). Arrive at Penzance Station and have our local taxi company pick you up. Logan Rock Cars will take you to Little Molvenny for a flat rate of £20. Please make sure you give them your arrival time in advance and mention you are staying with us. Ask to speak to Kathy or Alistair when you make the booking. They will also take your bicycles…in case you are not frightened by hills and narrow lanes, but do mention this on booking your cab so that they send a car large enough for you, your luggage and your bikes! A word of advice for cyclist! Please always be mindful to pack your high visible gear in case you decide to cycle around our stretch of land. The lanes are very narrow!
